This policy explains what Maltepe Homes (“we”) does with the personal data you share through maltepehomes.com, WhatsApp or email. We process it in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

What we collect

• The details you type into an enquiry form: your name, WhatsApp number or email address, what you are looking for and your message.
• The listing or agent you contacted us about.
• Messages you send us on WhatsApp, Instagram or by email.
• Basic technical data your browser sends to any website, such as your IP address and browser type, kept in server logs for security.

Why we use it

We use your details to answer your enquiry, arrange viewings, send you listings you asked for and, if you go ahead, prepare the paperwork for a purchase or rental. The legal basis is your request and the steps needed before entering into a contract with you.

We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask for them.

Who sees it

Your enquiry is seen by our team and, when needed to complete a transaction you have asked for, shared with the seller or landlord, a lawyer, a licensed appraiser or a sworn translator. Our website host and email provider store data on our behalf under contract.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last contact with you, unless a transaction requires longer retention under Turkish law. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of KVKK you can ask whether we hold data about you, get a copy, have it corrected or deleted, and object to how it is processed. Write to us at the email address on the contact page and we will reply within 30 days.
